Of all the Wainwrights, Martha is my favourite. I’ve had the good fortune to talk with her a few times already. This time around we talked about her upcoming tour of Australia and New Zealand. She also talked about the new music she’s been writing and how the death of her mother, Kate McGarrigle has affected her.

After the 2008 financial meltdown Hollywood seems to have produced as many corporate thrillers as political thrillers, substituting assets for bullets. Margin Call is being touted as the best of the bunch, having garnered accolades at last year’s Sundance Festival and having its screenplay nominated for an Oscar this past January.
