Elvis Has Left The Business: The Pallbearer Of Song Speaks

With an upcoming appearance at the first Grass Roots Festival in April, Elvis Costello is talking to the New Zealand media. I was allotted my 15 minutes, but Elvis was feeling chatty so we talked for a half hour. Fans of E.C. will want to read about his attitude to albums…he’s not making any more…and he claims to have been trying to get out out of the music business for over 30 years. So, sit down and spend some time with the man I have inadvertently called “The Pallbearer Of Song”.
