Loudon Wainwright III, proud patriarch of the Wainwright clan…including Martha and Rufus…has just released his latest album, Older Than My Old Man Now. As the title indicates, Loudon is ruminating about his father, family, death and mortality. Typical Wainwright fare, really. As usual he writes with humour, wit and poignancy. The 13th Floor spoke to Loudon Wainwright III about his family, his songwriting and about being older than his old man ever was.
