Lisa Marie Presley – Storm & Grace (Album Review)

Let’s face it, Lisa Marie Presley comes with a lot of baggage…daughter of Elvis, ex-wife of Michael Jackson (and Nicholas Cage). A former rock chick who covered The Ramones and Blue Oyster Cult, Presley has changed her image and is now a moody, Southern belle making atmospheric roots rock. And who better to bring this new musical persona to fruition but T Bone Burnett? So now, as listeners, we must ask ourselves, “Why do we care about Lisa Marie Presley?” Is it because of who her father was, or her ex-husband, or her producer or that she has the backing of crack musicians such as drummer Jay Bellerose and slide guitarist Greg Liesz? Or are we genuinely interested in what she has to say as a songwriter?

  1. I was curious if you ever thought of changing the
structure of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect
with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having
one or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out
    better?
