Pounding The Beat: Dave Wakeling Talks To The 13th Floor (Interview)

Thirty years after the release of Two-Tone hits like Save It For Later, Mirror In The Bathroom and Tears Of A Clown, The English Beat, led by original singer and guitarist Dave Wakeling, will perform for the first time in New Zealand at Auckland’s Powerstation on August 23rd. The 13th Floor caught up to Dave Wakeling to find out what he’s been up to over the past three decades. Speaking from his home in California, Wakeling is thrilled to finally be playing in Auckland…just don’t refer to the band as the British Beat.
