Bailterspace – Strobosphere (Album Review)

With Sonic Youth in disarray and Dinosaur Jr back in action, it probably makes sense for New Zealand’s own art-noise band to make a return. It’s been over a decade since the former Christchurch band has released a new album, but by the sound of things, Bailterspace exist in their own musical world where they seem unaffected by what’s going on around them. In other words, this new album sounds very much like the old Bailterspace of the 1990s.
