After a brief stint on the iconic Flying Nun label, Auckland three-piece Popstrangers have just released their debut album, Antipodes, locally on Australia’s Spunk label. The band is also taking it overseas with releases in the US and UK. Popstrangers will celebrate the release of Antipodes with a short New Zealand tour beginning with an Album Release party at Flagship Studio, 574 Great North Road on Friday, February 22nd. The 13th Floor stopped into Flagship Studio earlier this week and met up with Popstrangers’ Joel Flyger. Listen in as Joel gets his first look at his band’s new CD:
