The Courettes present a thoroughly retro and immersive dive back into the period of music when Rock’n’Roll defined itself as an Art Form. This is Brazilian Flavia Couri voice and guitar and Danish Martin Couri drums and percussion. As The Courettes, they are simultaneously a Tribute Band whilst presenting all original songs.
The Courettes are a duo whose music is steeped in the sounds of The Ronettes, The Shangri-las, The Sonics and The Ramones. Their new album, Back In Mono is released tomorrow and they talk about it with us today.

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 26, 2017 – American dream-pop sensations CIGARETTES AFTER SEX have confirmed an Auckland headline show at The Powerstation on January 8.
Carcass, A name synonymous with uncompromising sonic brutality, these UK grindcore pioneers, were joined by US melodic death metallers The Black Dahlia Murder and Melbourne’s groovy death metal supergroup Flesh Merchant in a night of unrelenting metal crescendos that rattled the bones of Tamaki Makaurau’s Galatos.
