Maybe “new” is exactly accurate, but chances are you haven’t heard this Neil Young song recorded almost 50 years ago…until now.

The song is Goodbye Christians On The Shore and, while it was recorded in 1972, it only comes to us now thanks to Neil’s new Neil Young Archives Volume II: 1972–1976.

Regarding Goodbye Christians On The Shore, it was recorded with The Stray Gators just before they hit the road on the Time Fades Away tour.
