13th Floor New Song Of The Day: Robbie Robertson – I Hear You Paint Houses ft. Van Morrison
Two old masters collaborate once more as Robbie Robertson (formerly of The Band) teams up with Van Morrison on I Hear You Paint Houses.
The track is taken from Robertson’s upcoming album, Sinematic, due out on September 20th and also features contributions by Citizen Cope, Derek Trucks and Glen Hansard.
Robbie’s got a busy year ahead of him as he’s also working on the soundtrack to Martin Scorsese’s upcoming film, The Irishman, starring Robert DeNiro.
Then, there is the documentary, Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and The Band, which will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in September.
