Groundbreaking South African musician Johnny Clegg has died, age 66.

For many folks, Johnny Clegg was the first South African musician they had heard. He was a tireless fighter against his country’s Apartheid government during the 1970s and 80s.

Johnny Clegg succumbed to pancreatic cancer at age 66.
