Auckland electro-pop-synth duo Imugi’s 이무기 long awaited DRAGONFRUIT EP has landed and to celebrate they have announced two special shows at Meow on Wednesday December 9 and The Tuning Fork on Thursday December 10.

Bearing seven fresh pop tracks, including radio-play favourites ‘Be Here Soon’, ‘Somebody Else’ and recent collaboration with Auckland hip-hop heavyweights Church & AP ‘y u always acting like a fool?’, DRAGONFRUIT has Imugi 이무기 fans wrapped around their finger with its collection of searing hot singles.

Yery Cho and producer Carl Ruwhiu blend hip hop and synth vibes into their cosmic-scale aesthetics to effortlessly compliment their considered thinking around music, culture and identity in Aotearoa New Zealand. Their debut EP Vacasian was lauded as one of the best releases from Aotearoa in 2017, and located them as a crucial part of the new generation of Auckland artists from immigrant communities.
