Watch: 13th Floor MusicTalk with Peggy Seeger
At age 85, Peggy Seeger has just released what may be her final album titled, First Farewell.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Peggy Seeger just days after she released her album, First Farewell, recorded with sons Calum and Neill MacColl and daughter-in-law Kate St. John.
Peggy Seeger is the sister of Pete Seeger and has been making folk records since the 1950s. Some of those were made with her late husband Ewan MacCall who, incidentally, wrote one of his best-known songs, The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, about Peggy Seeger.
