We found Rhiannon Giddens in Ireland where she and partner Francesco Turrisi have spent lockdown creating their latest album, They’re Calling Me Home.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Rhiannon about the circumstances that came into play selecting these ancient songs and recording in place far away from Rhiannon’s native North Carolina and Francesco’s native Italy.
