Watch: 13th Floor MusicTalk with String Noise

With not one, not two, but three albums just released, we talk to “classical avant-punk” duo String Noise along with special guest, composer Jessie Cox.

The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Conrad Harris and Pauline Kim Harris, the couple who make up violin duo String Noise. Their new album, Alien Stories features five songs by contemporary black composers including Jessie Cox who beamed in from Switzerland to join in.

Additionally, String Noise have collaborated with Deerhoof’s Greg Saunier on A Lunch Between Order and Chaos.
