With her new album, This Bitter Earth, just released, here is vocalist (and sometimes trumpet player) Veronica Swift to tell us all about it.

The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Veronica just as she was about to head of to Tallahassee, Florida for a rare live performance. Veronica, who released her first album at age 9, is an extraordinary vocalist.

Yes, what she does is jazz. But, as she tells us, it’s also opera, classical, rock & roll and funk. One thing it is not is “easy listening.”
