This Silent Divide Urges Us Don’t Give Up
This Silent Divide is a Wellington band with a message that all of New Zealand needs to hear: Don’t Give Up.

This Silent Divide are regulars on the Wellington live music scene, bringing their style of driving melodic rock to crowds around the city. 2021 has seen the band play a range of shows, including the iconic CubaDupa festival, before heading into Wellington’s Surgery Studios in June to record the Tall Stories EP.
‘Tall Stories’ featuring the singles ‘Lucinda’ and ‘Don’t Give Up’ was released on 1 November and will be supported by a 5-date North Island Tour. This Silent Divide are: Shaun Jones (vocals, guitar), Kieran Williams (lead guitar, backing vocals), Peter Stitt (bass, backing vocals), and Sunil Jolly (drums).
Tall Stories was recorded at Wellington’s Surgery Studios by producer Toby Lloyd (Sea Mouse, Hollie Smith, Louis Baker, Shapeshifter) and mastered by Chris Chetland @ Kog Studios. The EP features the singles Lucinda (released 1 October) and Don’t Give Up (released 1 November). Lucinda has been played on eight NZ radio stations.
Tall Stories features relatable tales of love, coming back from isolation, and people who want to control and shut others down.
