hackedepicciotto is the Berlin-based husband and wife duo of Danielle De Picciotto (ex-Space Cowboys) and Alexander Hacke (Einstürzende Neubauten). Here they are to tell us about their new album, The Silver Threshold.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Alexander and Danielle, who, after living the last 10 years as nomads, have found themselves locked down in Berlin. Newly signed to Mute Records, the duo, who claim to be in perfect symbiosis with each other, recorded The Silver Threshold, but only after recovering from their previous nomadic life…”we slept for three months!”.
