The Damned’s Captain Sensible Tells Us How Lemmy Saved His Band: Interview
The Damned are on their way to New Zealand. Here is guitarist Captain Sensible to tell us about their new album, their new sound and their old friend Lemmy.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to the good Captain who was home in Devon preparing to hit the road once again. The Damned’s new album, Darkadelic, is collecting rave reviews and the Captain can’t wait to play Wellington and Auckland.
Hear how he and vocalist Dave Vanian mange to get along so well, how the reunion of the original band went down last year and how Motorhead’s Lemmy saved the band back when they were ready to throw in The Damned towel.
