emerson kole has just released a new EP titled Haunted and we thought we’d bring Boy You Better Run to your attention.

Haunted is NZ artist emerson kole’s amazing new EP and contains songs titled ‘Boy You Better Run’, ‘6 Feet Deep’ and the title track ‘Haunted.’

Producer Ben Malone played a huge role in bringing these songs to life for the artist. Carefully choosing instrumentation that would bring an ‘edge’ to emerson’s beautiful vocals led to the creation of this incredibly dark and catchy EP.

“I really enjoyed the process of creating these songs with Ben. I often bring a finished song or partially finished song to the studio and he works his magic to make it sound like what I can hear in my head”, emerson said.

The release of HAUNTED ushers in a new era for the artist (who previously released her work under the name Erin Myers). emerson kole is a 21-year-old singer/songwriter based in Kirikiriroa, New Zealand. She wrote her first song at the age of 15 that went on to earn her a spot as a finalist in the Play It Strange Lion Foundation Songwriting Competition, 2019.
