Barbara Manning and The Charm Of Yesterday: Interview
Barbara Manning is about to release her first solo album in 20 years and it is titled Charm Of Yesterday…Convenience Of Tomorrow.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Barbara on Thanksgiving Day where she was relaxing in her back yard with her pet tortoise, Ptolemy. Marty and Barbara discuss her strong connection with New Zealand, where she recorded her 1997 album collaborating with the likes of Chris Knox, David Kilgour, Graeme Downes and Calexico.
So spent some time with Barbara Manning as she revisits her time in New Zealand and looks ahead to the release of her latest album.
Charm Of Yesterday…Convenience Of Tomorrow is released December 8th on Ba Da Bing! Records
