Carl o Yāng an indie artist from New Zealand’s South Island releases his new single, Seeing You, today, with an EP to follow.

Seeing You is a song about two lovers falling apart. The song is drenched in melancholic melodies and heartfelt vocals that reach the soul of the listener and has the potential to invoke an emotional response.
The duet performed with Iona Moana is the third single release from Carl’s upcoming EP Regeneration. The blend of Iona and Carl’s vocals makes for a powerful and captivating performance.
The song was written after Carl’s first major breakup and rewritten as a duet on the last day of recording.
Seeing You is written and performed from the perspective of the point of view of both parties.
As the story follows, the male is beginning to realise how deeply he feels for the female, but is to late to act, and shares his deep hurt.
The female then returns with her point of view of being backed into a corner and being left in the dark, leaving her with no other choice but to break things off.
After a strong debut release with his song Honey Back (featuring his cousin and up and coming hip-hop artist Will McClean) Carl has made a strong appearance onto the music scene and has a backlog of songs and ideas that he will be releasing over the upcoming years.

Carl o Yāng is an alternative, indie artist, born and raised in the picturesque and tranquil south island of New Zealand, Aotearoa.
Brought up in a large extended family of musicians, poets and storytellers, Carl’s childhood was one saturated with artistic influence and musical inspiration.
From jamming with cousins late into the night, playing his uncle’s records and listening to his grandad’s powerful opera singing, Carl was soon an inspired and confident musician and songwriter.
