This Silent Divide – Rockets: 13th Floor New Song Of The Day

This Silent Divide release their new new single, Rockets.

Rockets is the second single from Wellington rock band This Silent Divide’s forthcoming The Fire EP and recounts a story of pushing through fear to overcome an explosive situation.
 
This Silent Divide mix driving drums, wall-of-sound guitars and melodic overtones to create catchy, high-energy songs.

Rockets was recorded and mixed by producer Toby Lloyd at Wellington’s Tiny Triumph Recordings.The Fire EP will be released in October and the band are celebrating with a EP release show at Moon in Wellington on Fri 24 October. Tickets are available here from Under The Radar.

 
2025 to date has seen the band play a range of live shows and release single City Lights in July, with Loud Enough? Magazine labelling it a lively piece of modern rock with a twist of punk attitude. A gritty, energetic music video accompanied the release of City Lights, filmed in Wellington’s Eastern Suburbs and featuring fellow musicians and fans.
 
This Silent Divide are: Shaun Jones (vocals, guitar), Kieran Williams (lead guitar, backing vocals), Jonatan Jaworski (bass) and Tim Wright (drums). Ex-band member Sunil Jolly features on drums on Rockets.
