Earth Tongue – Silver Eye: 13th Floor New Song Of The Day
Two weeks out from the release of their third album Dungeon Vision, Earth Tongue today release Silver Eye a high energy hit of fuzz, psychedelica and their signature riffs.

Born out of a creative push between continents, Silver Eye came together after Earth Tongue returned from California to a frozen Berlin, determined to lock in a few more studio sessions to complete the record. While much of Dungeon Vision was tracked earlier in Los Angeles with Ty Segall, the band felt there was room for something faster, louder, and more immediate.
“We knew we needed to sprinkle in a few more fuzzy bangers to make the album feel complete,” the band explain. “We booked a few days with Richard Behrens at Big Snuff Studios, and ‘Silver Eye’ was born. We love the up-tempo feel, the journey of the bridge, and the psychedelic chorus.”
Produced and recorded with Behrens, a respected figure in the Berlin underground and long-time collaborator with bands including Kadavar, Samsara Blues Experience, and Elder Silver Eye balances raw urgent momentum with hypnotic groove. Thunderous riffs collide with swirling psych textures, building toward a huge, cathartic ending that feels tailor-made for the stage.
That instinct proved right when the band began road-testing the track during their US tour in late 2025, where it quickly became a standout moment in the live set.
“It became one of our favourite parts of the show- high-energy riffs, groovy sections, and a massive ending,” they say. “We want the audiences of our upcoming tours to get to know it so they’re ready.”
New Zealand audiences won’t need to wait long to see Earth Tongue in full flight with their six-date and seven show tour beginning in Kerkeri on album release day Friday February 13. They then head to Auckland, Hamilton, Dunedin, Christchurch including a newly announced matinee show before wrapping up in Wellington on Saturday 21 February.
