RIP: Kim Fowley
KIm Fowley has passed away at the age of 75. Kim, who has been involved in music as a songwriter, artist , producer, label head and just about anything else, was a true rock & roll original. Kim began producing records in the late 1950s. His first big hit was Alley Oop by The Hollywood Argyles. Since then he has worked with just about everyone from Frank Zappa to John Lennon to The Byrds to Alice Cooper to Kiss. Kim was best known for helping to form and produce The Runaways in the mid-1970s. He was, as the title of his best album stated…Outrageous! He will be missed.
