R.I.P. Donald “Duck” Dunn
Donald “Duck” Dunn, best known for bass playing with Booker T & The MGs, has died. Dunn passed away at age 70 in Tokyo, Japan, after playing two shows. In addition to playing with Booker T & The MGs, Dunn was part of the Stax house band and played on hundreds of classic Memphis soul sessions by the likes of Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Carla Thomas and Johnny Taylor.
