Butter Wouldn’t Melt – Going Back to 1931: Interview
Butter Wouldn’t Melt is a Wellington-based duo who have just released their debut album titled 1931, a pivotal year in the history of New Zealand.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Andrea Reid and Nick Burfield, the couple who make up Butter Wouldn’t Melt. 1931 was released this past weekend and the duo are set to tour the country beginning this week.
As you’ll hear, many of the songs on the album are based around historical events that took place in 1931 in New Zealand.
