Chris Bailey of The Saints Has Died Age 65: R.I.P.
Chris Bailey, of Australian punk legends, The Saints has died at age 65.
Chris co-founded the Brisbane band in 1973 with guitarist Ed Kuepper and drummer Ivor Hay after they met at school. The band’s debut single, 1976’s I’m Stranded remains one of the great punk-era songs and their legacy is assured.

It is with great pain in our hearts that we have to inform you about the passing of Chris Bailey, singer and songwriter of The Saints, on April the 9th 2022.
Chris lived a life of poetry and music and stranded on a Saturday night.
