Chris Rea Has Died Age 74: R.I.P.
We’ve just learned that English singer Chris Rea has died, age 74.
His family has issued this statement: “It is with immense sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Chris. He passed away peacefully in hospital earlier today following a short illness, surrounded by his family,” a statement shared by his wife and two children revealed.

Rea, known for his distinctive voice and blues-infused rock, had battled pancreatic cancer and suffered a stroke in recent years, but continued to create music, leaving behind a legacy of beloved songs including Fool (If You Think Its Over), The Road To Hell and Driving Home For Christmas.
