Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac Has Died Age 79: R.I.P.
Christine McVie has died at age 79 and music-lovers the world over are reeling from this sudden, unexpected news.
Christine McVie was born Christine Perfect in 1943 and joined Fleetwood Mac in 1970 after a stint in Chicken Shack and then recording a solo album.
Christine married Fleetwood Mac bassist John McVie in 1968 (Peter Green was best man) and they split in 1976. But her relationship with Fleetwood Mac was life-long, although she ‘retired’ from the band in 1998, only to return in 2014.
Classic Christine McVie/Fleetwood Mac songs include: Say You Love Me, You Make Lovin’ Fun, Don’t Stop and Little Lies among others.
