Courtney Barnett Sells Out First Auckland Concert, Second Show Announced

Monday, May 21- Hot on the heels of the release of her sophomore album Tell Me How You Really Feel, Courtney Barnett announces a second all ages concert at Auckland’s Powerstation on Tuesday August 28.

The first Powerstation show sold-out even before Barnett’s critically acclaimed new record dropped on Friday and with a tradition of her shows in New Zealand being full houses, it’s expected that this second show will sell like hotcakes when tickets are released at 2pm today via Ticketmaster.

This is what critics are saying about the new album:

“Tell Me How You Really Feel is Courtney Barnett at her angriest and most vulnerable, but being a drinker of details means she can also blow the beauty of life’s little things up to full-size.” – NME, UK

“An album that’s warm, honest, awash with tuneage, never corny, and really rather marvellous.” – MOJO, UK

“Courtney Barnett is back with a spectacular new album.” – Sunday Star Times, NZ

Courtney Barnett and her band have taken their place as one of the live rock acts of our time, and fans should not miss to see the songs from this spectacular new album live.
