Dartz – Earn The Thirst: 13th Floor New Song Of The Day

Signaling the beginning of something big, today DARTZ have unleashed their brand new track Earn The Thirst and announced a four-city national tour for October/November 2023.

Here’s the blurb!

Dartz‘Earn the Thirst’ follows DARTZ’s 2022 debut album The Band From Wellington, New Zealand and is supported by a new video for the song directed by Ezra Simons, shot on Super8mm.

The band says: “The song’s about putting in the hard yards before you have a beer. Sometimes it’s tempting to skip straight to cracking one open, but it’ll hit so much harder if you put in the work and get sweaty first. As soon as we figured that out we made a song about it.”

Taking the song out nationally, ‘Earn The Thirst’ will further DARTZ’s live reputation, for which they have made a name for themselves with energetic live performances, infectious on-stage chemistry, and a deep connection with their fans. Headline shows are scheduled for Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Auckland across October and November.

“It’s been over a year since we have gotten to do a major NZ tour so we are looking forward to getting on the road for the Earn the Thirst tour”, says Clark Mathews.

Following recent singles ‘Steal From The Supermarket‘ and ‘DMC‘, last month saw DARTZ support Alien Weaponry at New Plymouth’s Nightlight Festival, and pack out headline shows in Palmerston North and Whanganui.

DartzWith more DARTZ anthems on the way, a NZ single tour in October-November, Crate Day schemes in the works, and future Australian shows to be announced, ‘Earn The Thirst’ marks the start of another crazy journey for DARTZ as they etch their name deeper into NZ rock music history.
