David Crosby Has Died Age 81: R.I.P.
David Crosby, a founding member of The Byrds and one quarter of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, has died at age 81.
Wow, this is turning into an all-too common occurrence, another musical heavyweight has passed away. Crosby was one of the sweetest harmonizers in rock & roll although he could be hard to get along with. He was thrown out of The Byrds in 1967, then hooked up with Stephen Stills and Graham Nash and eventually Neil Young.
David Crosby’s 1971 solo album, If I Could Only Remember My Name is considered a classic by those in the know. Crosby was cranking out solo music til the very end.
