It was 60 years ago that The Beatles came to New Zealand and Kiwi singing sensation Dinah Lee was there. Here she is to tell us about meeting John and Paul, doing the Blue Beat and her recent induction into the NZ Walk Of Fame.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda caught Dinah Lee as she was making her way to Orewa to for the unveiling of her plaque at the New Zealand Walk Of Fame. Dinah shares her story of how she met The Beatles back in 1964, how she learned the Blue Beat and why she plans to “bop til she drops!”.
