Elemental Nights 2023 Second & Final Line Up Announcement

The second line-up for Elemental Nights 2023, part of Elemental AKL has been announced!

Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Fazerdaze (NZ); Australian singer, songwriter and guitarist Kirin J Callinan (AU) and four piece indie dream-pop band There’s A Tuesday (NZ) will join the Elemental Nights line-up in August. All three shows will be taking place in an exciting, exclusive venue new to Elemental Nights – the Mount Albert War Memorial Hall.

Tāmaki Makaurau’s most iconic venues transform into temporary works of art, with the midwinter concert series bringing a line-up of local and international world class artists to Auckland. Elemental Nights has previously transformed Auckland’s hidden gems into live music venues, including Hopetoun Alpha, St Matthews in the City and the Titirangi War Memorial Hall. Rarely used for live shows, the Mount Albert War Memorial Hall is a beautiful modernist building and will join these special venues in a rare opportunity to witness the stunning space as a live music venue.

Fazerdaze

Fazerdaze (AKA Amelia Murray) has returned to the music

scene after a 5-year hiatus between her last project ‘Morningside’. Returning with ‘Break!’, the EP marks the beginning of a new era for the multi-talented creative: it’s a grungier, angrier version of the artist who burst onto the scene in 2017 with a catchy dream-pop sound. She returns better than ever after an inward journey of self-reflection and reconnection to herself after a whirlwind of pandemic anxiety and health issues. She’s caught the attention of music industry big leagues including Pitchfork and MOJO, and performed across the world, including opening for Haim, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and The XX.
