Eric Bibb Shares A Letter To His Homeland In Dear America
Eric Bibb is an American blues musician who can claim Paul Robeson as his Godfather, and is now living in Sweden.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Eric who is just days away from releasing his new album, Dear America. Born in 1951 among family and friends that included Pete Seeger, John Lewis (of The Modern Jazz Quartet) and Paul Robeson.
Eric has assembled 13 new songs with help from the likes of Ron Carter, Eric Gales and Shaneeka Simon. Here he is to tell us how it all came together.
