FromThePit – Celebrating Live Music Photography Opens 20 May

Concert photography brings the action to life, preserving moments and capturing the energy of live performance. FromThePit is a curated exhibition of images of New Zealand musicians playing live.

The exhibition is a celebration of the craft and art of live music photography. It is also about the musicians and the venues across the country where they perform.

This year the print exhibition features the work of over thirty photographers and will be shown in full simultaneously in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch during NZ Music Month.

We are delighted to be able to offer three workshops alongside the exhibition:

• • Speed Up Your Editing tutorial (23 May 2021 6pm – Online)
  • Charles Brooks photographer talk (27 May 7pm – Auckland)
  • When Will You Get A Real Job? panel session (30 May 2021 2pm – Auckland)
