Georgia Lines Announces Auckland Show For September
Award winning singer songwriter Georgia Lines is set to light up The Powerstation performing live on Friday September 20 celebrating the release of her recently released #1 album The Rose Of Jericho.
2024 has been a breakout year for Tauranga’s Georgia Lines. Just last month she picked up the Aotearoa Music Award for Best Pop Act having won Breakthrough Artist Of The Year award at the 2022 ceremony. Her most recent album The Rose Of Jericho hit #1 on the Official Top 20 NZ Album Chart, current single ‘Wayside” also found chart success hitting #1 on the Hot 20 NZ Single Chart solidifying her position as one of the leading acts in the New Zealand music scene.
Not only is Lines an accomplished recording artist, but a formidable live performer too. Having performed to a sold out Spark Arena last Saturday opening for Brooke Fraser, Georgia Lines won over the crowd with her heartfelt performance and musical brilliance with The 13th Floor declaring “Her stunning six-song set had the audience swooning. Georgia has never sounded better, her voice soaring during The Letter” .
Lines has completed multiple sold-out headline tours across New Zealand, including festivals Rhythm & Vines, Sound Splash and Festival One. She’s fresh off two tours to the USA having played SXSW, and LA’s prestigious ‘School Night’ plus has opened for international acts such as George Ezra and Pentatonix.
Don’t miss the chance to experience an unforgettable night of music and artistry from one of New Zealand’s most exciting talents. Tickets for Georgia Lines at The Powerstation go on sale on Tuesday July 2 at midday. This show is R18.
