Happy 70th Bob Dylan
It’s hard to believe, but Bob Dylan is 70 years old. In order to help you celebrate this milestone, we here at The 13th Floor have made available a rare Dylan recording. Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Revue rolled into Rochester, New York on November 17, 1975. They played two shows at the Rochester War Memorial that day. Among the musicians to appear with Dylan were Roger McGuinn, Joni Mitchell, T Bone Burnett, Mick Ronson, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Joan Baez, Ronee Blakley and Bob Neuwirth. Each show was three hours long. We are thrilled to present, for your listening pleasure, the entire early show. In total, over 40 songs were played. Dylan didn’t appear until just over a hour into the concert. To make things easier, the show has been divided into two parts. Part one is the hour preceding Dylan, including songs by Joni Mitchell, T Bone Burnett, Bob Neuwirth and Ramblin’ Jack. The second part features all of Dylan’s performances along with Joan Baez and Roger McGuinn. The sound quality is a bit muddy in parts, but, hey, this is history. Happy Birthday Bob.

Amazing how good that sounds! Hard to believe it’s from a 35 year old cassette!
