Henri Woodley – Reach For The Sky: 13th Floor New Song Of The Day
A rising voice in the NZ music scene, Auckland pop-soul singer-songwriter and musician Henri Woodley has officially released his new single, Reach for the Sky, now available on all major streaming platforms.
Here is the blurb with more:
Blending soulful vocal warmth with an vibrant and energising pop-house feel, ‘Reach for the Sky’ marks a bold sonic step forward for Woodley. The track pairs his signature expressive delivery with uplifting production that’s built for both late-night dance floors and feel-good daytime playlists. Produced by Adam Stinton and Oliver Boeinghoff, Henri’s latest track showcases guitar work from Michael Walmsley.

Fresh off completing a one-year Diploma in Songwriting at SAE, Woodley enters this new era with sharpened craftsmanship and renewed creative clarity. His growth as both a writer and vocalist shines through in the single’s anthemic hooks and emotive message of resilience and aspiration.
“Reach for the Sky is about following your dreams and passions and having the best time doing so” says Henri Woodley.
The release follows Henri’s debut single ‘Fade’ that introduced his soulful style and vocal range, and ‘Reach for the Sky’ continues his exploration of other genres and styles.

About Henri Woodley
Henri Woodley is a soulful-pop singer-songwriter from Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand. His music blends heartfelt songwriting with smooth, emotive vocals — a style rooted in contemporary soul and pop, shaped by his own experiences and creative vision.
Henri emerged on the national scene in 2024, when he became a finalist in two major youth songwriting and performance competitions: Play It Strange and Stand Up Stand Out.
That same year he released his debut single, Fade — a milestone moment for Henri. The track draws on themes of transition, longing, and introspection, and captures the emotional depth of his songwriting.
Thanks to a collaboration between Play It Strange and the long-running Kiwi TV drama Shortland Street, ‘Fade’ was featured on the show’s recent season titled New Blood — giving Henri national exposure and helping his music reach a broader NZ audience.
Across his social platforms, Henri offers fans a window into his creative journey, sharing the moments that shape his sound. With even more music on the way, Henri Woodley is one to watch.
