J.D. Souther Has Died At The Age of 78: R.I.P.
J.D. Souther, songwriter, singer and actor, has died at the age of 78. Souther co-wrote Eagles hits New Kid In Town and Best Of My Love along with his own hit, You’re Only Lonely.
Souther was also a member of the Souther-Hillman-Furay Band with former Byrd Chris Hillman and ex-Buffalo Springfield Richie Furay. He also wrote or recorded with James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt along with The Eagles.
