Joe Ely Has Died Age 78: R.I.P.
Texas singer/songwriter/guitarist and Flatlander Joe Ely has died at age 78 at home in New Mexico from complications of Lewy Body Dementia, Parkinson’s disease and pneumonia.
Ely’s family said that Joe died at his home in Taos, New Mexico, with his wife and manager, Sharon, and daughter, Marie, at this side.
