John Lodge of The Moody Blues Has Died Age 82 – R.I.P.

Sad to wake up to the news of the passing of John Lodge of The Moody Blues who died “suddenly and unexpectedly”, aged 82, his family have confirmed.

John Lodge joined The Moody Blues in 1966 as bass player, singer and songwriter along with Justin Hayward and changed the band from an r&B beat band to something more “progressive” with albums like Days Of Future Passed and In Search Of The Lost Chord.

Lodge is responsible for writing classic rock songs such as Ride My See-Saw and I’m Just a Singer (in a Rock and Roll Band).
