Kokomo – If This Is All: 13th Floor New Song Of The Day

Kokomo release If This Is All, what they call ‘a two and a half minute blast of left-field socially-conscious folk-rock. Just what the world needs now…’

Here’s the blurb:

KokomoWith the world falling apart seemingly faster each day Kokomo take a left step from the blues and move into that genre that was about to become so fashionable 60 years ago – folk-rock.

With a blast of social commentary aligned with a left-field love song, if this was released in 1978 it would have seen singer / songwriter Derek Jacombs described as “the new Dylan”. But then every singer / songwriter was called that back then. At 2 ½ minutes it gets in and gets out, making its point quickly and firmly, adding in a killer chorus riff and a harmonica solo.

If This Is All comes from Kokomo new 3-song Back Bar / If This Is All EP, to be released on all platforms on Matariki weekend, July 15th – the video for Back Bar will be launched at the same time.
