New Zealand-French singer and songwriter Max Allais is kicking off the year as he means to go on – with an honest and heartfelt new single, Wherever You Go.

Wherever You Go will feature on Max’s debut EP, ANYWHERE & EVERYWHERE, set for release on March 13, 2026. There will be stunning visual content released alongside the single and for the EP, created by the incredible Emil Nava (who has shot videos for Ed Sheeran, Zara Larsson, Nick Jonas, Bebe Rexha, Camila Cabello, Dua Lipa, Pharrell, Post Malone and more).
“Wherever You Go is a song I wrote about the connection you feel with someone, no matter the distance or the things that are going on in your life,” explains Max.
“I wanted to include some real moments that happened during a relationship I had, which is why I feel the song has such strong imagery. To me what makes this song so special is how naturally it all came together. It feels like a snapshot of real emotion.”
And it is this – Max’s ability to connect on an emotional level with his audience that has seen him soaring up the charts; played across the board on commercial radio in New Zealand (ZM, The Edge, The Hits and More FM), while amassing 3.3 million followers on TikTok and 860k on Instagram.
Signed to Real Thing Records / Coca Cola, in a worldwide joint venture with the Universal Music Group; Max has fast made a name for himself on the global pop scene with back-to-back singles such as his most recent, ‘Everywhere’ and ‘Whenever You Hold Me’ and ‘When The Party Ends’ – the latter which has earned the young singer-songwriter a coveted spot in the Top 100songs in the 2025 Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition.
Now Max has 2026 firmly in his sights, and it begins with ‘Wherever You Go’, followed by a run of shows across Australia and New Zealand supporting Arthur Hill!
The New Zealand leg sees two shows at the Tuning Fork in Auckland – Sunday January 18 and Monday January 19. And then the anticipated release of his debut EP on March 13.
