Mitski – Where’s My Phone: 13th Floor New Song Of The Day
Mitski announces a new album and releases a new song…one with a title I’m sure most folks can relate to…Where’s My Phone.
Here is the blurb with more:
The album is Nothing’s About to Happen to Me. It’s the follow up to The Land is Inhospitable and So Are We and it’s due out on February 27 via Dead Oceans. The album “finds Mitski immersing herself in a rich narrative whose main character is a reclusive woman in an unkempt house. Outside of her home, she is a deviant; inside of her home, she is free.”

That definitely comes across in the hallucinatory video for the first single, Where’s My Phone, which was directed by Noel Paul, and based on Shirley Jackson’s novel We Have Always Lived in the Castle.
