New Song Of The Day: Edward Castelow – When Your Tears Have Dried

Here’s a little something from Edward Castelow (aka Dictaphone Blues) and you can download it for free!

The song is When Your Tears Have Dried and its taken from Edward’s upcoming album, Mirth. Here’s the record company blurb with details on the download:

To bring in the weekend with an aural gift and entice listeners a week out from his album release, Edward Castelow is offering a free download via bandcamp of a new song called When Your Tears Have Dried on Friday 19th February.

The song sashays through the sometimes treacherous lowlights of change and personal growth. Soft 70s jangle greets you like the warm realisation that something – or someone – else will come along and you’ll be ok. Guest appearances are rife on the recording and again lending their swag (as on previous single Baby It’s For You) are Julia Deans and Anna Coddington on vocals and Finn Scholes, Callum Passells and Ben Sinclair on horns.

This new record is a musical departure for Castelow, but a creation as exploratory and intriguing as anything he has previously released under the Dictaphone Blues moniker. Mirth will be release digitally on Friday 26th February 2021.
