New Song Of The Day: Liz Phair – Hey Lou
Whoo-hoo! Liz Phair’s new song is a tribute to Lou (Reed, that is).
That’s right, Liz has just released her first new single in two years. The tribute to Lou Reed is taken from Liz’s upcoming new album, Soberish, which will be her first new album in 10 years.
The song is actually a tribute to both Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson. Hey Lou arrives with a video featuring puppets of Reed and Anderson. It also precedes a livestream event called “Hey Lou Hey Liz” happening March 3, in which Phair will perform the two new songs along with choice older material.
