Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Announce Wild God Tour Dates For Australia & NZ

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds will bring their most celebrated live production to date – THE WILD GOD TOUR – to Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand in January and February 2026, in their first shows here since 2017.

These special events will be held in beautiful parks at iconic, cultural locations in Melbourne (Alexandra Gardens), Sydney (The Domain Sydney), Fremantle (Fremantle Park) and Brisbane (Victoria Park), allowing audiences to experience this transcendental production at scale, while retaining the intimacy that fans have come to expect from a Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds show.

The tour will also include a show in Adelaide, and exclusive New Zealand shows in Wellington in association with Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts 2026.

Tickets are on sale Friday 29 August at 10am local time from nickcave.com

Speaking about the announcement, Nick Cave said, I can’t wait to get to Australia and New Zealand with The Bad Seeds and to bring you our epic Wild God show. It’s been a long time coming, and I’ve missed both Australia and New Zealand very much. It will be a wild and mighty joy.”

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds will perform a setlist drawn from their latest album ‘Wild God’, alongside songs spanning the four decades of their storied career, in this critically acclaimed two-and-a-half-hour show.

Renowned for their exhilarating and unforgettable performances, The Bad Seeds are widely regarded as one of the most thrilling live bands in the world. This reputation was solidified in 2024 and 2025 as media and fans alike were stunned by The Wild God Tour as it travelled through the UK, Europe and North America.

The album ‘Wild God’ was released in 2024 and celebrated by critics around the world. Produced by Cave and Warren Ellis, and mixed by David Fridmann, across ten tracks the band dance between convention and experimentation, taking left-turns and detours that heighten the rich imagery and emotion in Cave’s soul-stirring narratives.

“An absolutely tremendous experience… one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen.

A show that left one moved spiritually.”

Forbes

“A great performance …no one was able to entice a crowd like they were.”

LA Times

“An electrifying show.

A raw, electric performance

This show will be one for the books.

Don’t miss them on this tour.”

Melodic Magazine

“Transcendent.

Exciting and interactive, but there’s also a profound tension, a power, an unsettling sense of weight and aggression that thankfully never borders on pretentious. It’s challenging yet inviting, full of fury and grace, a cosmic minutia of contrasts and contradictions.”

Exclaim

“An out of body experience

One of the greatest performances of Mr. Cave’s progressive and storied career.

There are too many amazing moments to name, too much greatness to highlight.”

The Aquarian

Nick Cave was a force of nature.”

Variety

“Mesmerizing and powerful.

Transcendent.

Visceral, passionate, theatrical.

He had everyone enraptured from start to finish.”

Los Angeles Magazine

“A unique performer, and he brought an emotional fire.

A spiritual tempest.

A transformative experience, an addictive habit that people cannot get rid of.”
