PRINS – Cool: 13th Floor New Song Of The Day

New Zealand pop powerhouse PRINS continues her rise with the release of her latest single COOL, a bold, high-energy track that cements her reputation as one of the most exciting voices in modern pop.

Here is the blurb with more:

Built for late nights and packed dancefloors, COOL is a playful, confident anthem that captures PRINS’ ability to fuse attitude with irresistible hooks.

“It’s all about fun, confidence, and letting yourself get swept up in the moment,” says PRINS.

“I wanted it to make people feel good, to move, and to enjoy the cheeky, flirtatious vibe running through the track.”

The single was co-written in Los Angeles with Dillon Deskin (aka Lost Boy), the U.S. songwriter and producer whose credits span some of the world’s biggest pop and dance releases. PRINS first connected with him online during the pandemic, and when borders reopened, she flew to LA to collaborate in person.

Lost Boy was someone who I have admired the production of for a few years so getting in the room together to create such a fun, danceable song for this project was a dream,” says PRINS.

Production credits include Pierre Blondeau and John-Adam Howard, with mixing from Scotty Desmarais and mastering by Grammy-winner Chris Gehringer (Dua Lipa, Drake, Ed Sheeran) at Sterling Sound.

COOL’ follows PRINS’ breakout single, ‘Run, which hit #1 on the NZ Hot Singles Chart earlier this year. Both songs will feature on her upcoming EP HEAVEN OR HELL (early 2026), a project that captures her talent for turning raw emotion, flirtation, and drama into infectious pop anthems designed for the stage.
